Questions our Customers Ask

How did I get Bed Bugs?
Bed Bugs can enter your home through a variety of different ways. If you are traveling bed bugs can enter your luggage and invade your clothing. You can also pick up bed bugs while staying at in other homes. Often when you purchase items from thrift stores bed bugs could be hiding in certain furniture pieces or even clothes. Other people that even visit your home could be a potential carrier so it is important to understand they can come from anywhere and that it is a common problem.
How Hot are you Making my Home?
When we treat your home, you can expect the temperature to rise to about 150 degrees Fahrenheit. You may think initially that this type of heat exposure could damage your belongings, but this is not the case.
Will I need to get rid of my Furniture?
Not at all. With this treatment you will not need to throwaway your mattress or any other home furniture that you have spent your money on. This is why heat treatment is considered so cost effective!
What Happens When you Come to my Home?
When we come into your home, we ask for nothing but your cooperation. We ask that you prepare fresh clothes to take with you and, on the day of treatment, we come in for your extermination to leave all your clothing and furniture in the home. We will then begin treatment for you and you can expect the treatment to last about 10 to 12 hours.
What Happens After the Treatment?
We ask that you continue to be mindful about bed bugs because although after our heat treatment they will be gone, they can always reenter your home from the reasons mentioned above.
